Cressy Door Company has developed a full line of services designed to help you get through any season without the inconvenience, expense, and possible downtime resulting from the breakdown of doors, operators, or loading dock equipment. Our commercial service department provides dependable and professional repairs and emergency service on all makes of rolling/coiling or sectional overhead doors, broken spring repair, electric operators and controls, gates and gate openers, loading dock equipment, hollow metal doors, pedestrian doors, storefront doors, automatic entry systems, emergency fire exit doors,handicap access doors and controls. Our residential service department can service all of your Garage Door, Spring and Hardware and Opener and Fireplace needs. All our repairmen are trained professionals and all work is guaranteed.

With fourteen service and installation vehicles, Cressy Door Company covers a wide area with quick response times and professional service. All of our technicians carry Nextel phones, so they can communicate with the customer and back to the office for maximum efficiency. We stock parts for all major brands of doors and operators, and because of our size and the longevity of our company, we have the best buying power and sourcing for all door and operator products. We have stocking facilities in Seattle and Kent to draw from. Our service and installation trucks are stocked with up to date equipment, parts, and tools to properly take care of any emergency or service need. We also own our own man lifts and forklifts for safer, quicker response on repairs and installations.

Cressy Door Company Inc. offers twenty-four hour emergency service, and preventive maintenance agreements on all of the commercial products that we service and install. Our standard daily service Monday through Friday 7-4 is available for all residential repairs. All estimates are free of charge. Customers that sign up for our preventive maintenance programs go to our "Preferred Customer" list and get priority service along with reduced rates for service and parts.

Commercial Service is also available on a 24 hour emergency basis for commercial doors and electric operators. After regular business hours, the emergency commercial services are based on an over-time rate.

Residential Service is available during our regular business hours of Monday through Friday 7AM to 4PM.

All trucks are stocked with repair parts, and the best tools and equipment to make the job go faster and smoother. Cressy Door Company also owns platform lifts and forklifts to insure that the job gets done safely, and on time.
• Huge Inventory of Doors, Springs, Hardware, and Electric Operator Parts. For Overhead Garage Doors, Coiling Doors, Gates and Gate Operators, Hollow Metal Doors, Pedestrian Doors, Automatic Entry Doors and Hardware, Cressy Door Company has over 25,000 square feet of inventory warehoused in two locations, to help solve your door problems sooner. From replacement springs, to electronic parts, to all types of door hardware, we carry it to save you time and expense in repairing your door.
• All service technicians are Trained, Hourly Employees of Cressy Door Company. Our service Technicians are not paid by how many parts they can sell you. You only pay for the parts that you need, at a reasonable price.
• Fire Door Reset and Confidence Testing Bring your Coiling and Sliding Fire Door Systems up to NFPA 80 standards with an annual fire door drop test. All fire department paperwork and ARDI documentation is included.
• Residential Garage Door and Opener and Fireplace Service. Monday through Friday 7-4 our residential service crew can perform annual recommended service on your gas fireplace. Check for gas leaks, adjust the flame and clean that "hard to get to" glass. Upgrade to a fan or remote to make your fireplace more efficient and user friendly. Our service truck carries replacement springs for the unexpected broken spring replacement on you garage door, and we can troubleshoot your broken opener to see if it meets UL 325 safety code standards.
• Preventive Maintenance Plans on all of the products that we sell and service. We offer complete Preventive Maintenance packages along with discounts for customers that choose Cressy Door Company as their sole provider and Preventive Maintenance partner. Licensed Safety Inspectors for Automatic Pedestrian Doors. Cressy Door Company has licensed and certified technicians that can inspect your automatic pedestrian doors and controls to make sure they meet current safety codes and regulations.
• All Quotes and Estimates are Free. Our expert sales staff will help you with written estimates and ideas on new replacement doors and parts at no charge.

FIRE DOOR INSPECTIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS
Our service department can provide fire door drop tests and confidence testing to bring all types of fire doors and controls up to Fire Department NFPA 80 specifications. The National Fire Protection Agency and all fire door manufacturers require that all fire doors be inspected on a yearly basis to assure maximum safety.

• Section 15-2.4.3 reads:
  "All horizontal or vertical sliding and rolling fire doors shall be inspected and tested annually to check for proper operation and full closure. Resetting of the release mechanism shall be done in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. A written record shall be maintained and be made available to the authority having jurisdiction."

Cressy Door Company has certified mechanics on staff to test your fire door and help you follow N.F.P.A. 80 regulations. While performing confidence testing on your fire doors, we will initially perform a visual inspection of the doors. If the door passes the initial visual inspection, we will then release your door in the same manner as a fire would in accordance with NFPA 80 (1995 Edition) and the manufacturer's instructions. After a successful fire door test, Cressy Door will supply you with the appropriate certification. If you're due for an inspection or need your fire door serviced, we'll be happy to help.


PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE PROGRAM
We encourage you to have your garage door system professionally inspected. These inspections are normally performed based on the individual customer's needs quarterly, semi-annually or annually.

Your inspection from Cressy Door Company will include:

• Careful inspection and any necessary adjustments to the counterbalance system including springs, bearings, cables and attached hardware.

• Careful inspection and necessary adjustments of all fasteners, hinges, top brackets, bottom brackets, tracks and rollers.

• Lubrication of all moving door parts.

• Careful inspection of your electric operator, test the reversing mechanism including necessary adjustments to limit switches and lubrication of appropriate parts.

• Recommendations on how to use your existing door more safely.

• A written recommendation will be given for any further repairs needed prior to additional work being completed.

• To help prevent future problems, have your doors and electric operators inspected regularly.
